Scent Request

Some in our church family have sensitivities to scents and chemicals. For the health and consideration of others, we’d like to ask everyone to please use unscented hygiene and cosmetic products on Sunday mornings. Thank you for your consideration. 

Parking

  • Please be aware of the “no stopping” signs after the school parking on Evelyn Ave. People have been ticketed.
  • Also, please be aware to not park in other churches' parking lots. Thanks!

Critical Connections: Helping Newcomers Connect to Our Church - August 24

Leaders, and all who serve at Calvary, are invited to this seminar led by Godfrey Thorogood on Sunday, August 24 from 1-3pm, to  help newcomers connect to our church. Lunch will be provided. Please let us know that you are coming in advance by signing up at  calvarybaptistchurch.ca/connections.

AWANA Information to Know – Meeting TODAY

Awana is a boys and girls (ages 2-grade 6) discipleship club that focuses on the gospel, Bible study & memorization, with fun competition. Held on Thursday nights starting Sept. 18th.

Compassion Ministry: Sandwich Making – August 17

Join the compassion team next Sunday, after the 2nd service, make sandwiches for the Ottawa Mission and Ottawa Innercity Ministries downstairs in the preschool room. For additional info, please contact Nick Frenette.

Children’s Church

We are hoping to open Children’s Church in the fall for kids ages 3-5 during the 11am service. If you would like to help serve here, please sign up at www.calvarybaptistchurch.ca/serve. For questions, contact Pastor Troy Nevitt.

We believe baptism is the most crucial first step of obedience for believers to take, as a way to publicly profess their faith in Jesus. You can sign up for baptism or inquire for more information at calvarybaptistchurch.ca/baptism.
