Some in our church family have sensitivities to scents and chemicals. For the health and consideration of others, we’d like to ask everyone to please use unscented hygiene and cosmetic products on Sunday mornings. Thank you for your consideration.
Parking
- Please be aware of the “no stopping” signs after the school parking on Evelyn Ave. People have been ticketed.
- Also, please be aware to not park in other churches' parking lots. Thanks!

*NEW* Caring Well for the Abused Small Group – Apr 29th (6 weeks)
We will be hosting a 6-week small group at the church on Wednesday evenings at 6:30-8:15pm. The purpose is to help us learn what it means to be on the front lines of caring for people in our church family who are suffering or have suffered from various forms of abuse. If you have a heart for mercy, justice, and care, we encourage you to commit to these 6 weeks. SIGN UP at calvarybaptistchurch.ca/caring (12 in-person spots are available. Additional people may join as virtual participants.)
Marriage Weekender – May 8-9th :: Deadline to register: May 3rd
Do you think your marriage is worth investing in? Join, with other couples, on a Friday evening and Saturday, to spend time talking and working through the fine details of your marriage with your spouse. This will be a time set aside for you, without the distractions and responsibilities of your daily life, to focus on your relationship. OVA Ladies' Retreat :: Deadline to register: May 17th
Our annual retreat is a time for women of the FEB churches across the Ottawa Valley to connect, experience refreshment, and be encouraged through scripture, fellowship, and worship together. This year our speaker is Kathy Butryn, sharing from 1 Thessalonians 4:11 on the topic of "Keeping a Quiet Heart". A discounted registration fee will be available for a limited time. Gospel Kids Conference – June 4-6th :: Deadline to register: May 21st
Join us at Calvary Baptist Church for a time of learning how to teach and preach the Bible and the gospel to kids! This is a livestreamed event featuring teachers specializing in children's ministry. We hope to equip parents, teachers, and anyone interested in caring for the hearts of young ones through this. The event runs from Thursday night until mid-afternoon Saturday. The cost of this event is $25 (to cover the cost of snacks and meals). If you cannot afford the cost, please contact Pastor Troy or Janis Henry. We would love to help you attend the event and are happy to talk with you about the cost if that is an issue for you. You can register here.
