The following are the announcements for the week of January 18th 2026:

Scent Request

Some in our church family have sensitivities to scents and chemicals. For the health and consideration of others, we’d like to ask everyone to please use unscented hygiene and cosmetic products on Sunday mornings. Thank you for your consideration. 

Parking

  • Please be aware of the “no stopping” signs after the school parking on Evelyn Ave. People have been ticketed.
  • Also, please be aware to not park in other churches' parking lots. Thanks!

Sandwich Making – TODAY

Join the Compassion team downstairs immediately after the second service to help make sandwiches for The Ottawa Mission.

Calvary Youth : Snocamp – Feb 6-8th

Students grades 9-12 it’s time to sign up. Deadline: January 21st. Taking place Muskoka Woods, FEBYouth is running its annual winter retreat Snocamp. Any questions? Talk to Pastor Kenny. Sign up here.

Bridal Shower – Jan 25th

Ladies, bring a dish and join us in the fellowship hall on January 25th at 1:30 pm to bless Lourença before her upcoming wedding.

New Small Groups – Starting Jan 26th

We've got some new special focus small groups that will be starting on January 26 (on Monday nights): Church basics and Conflict Resolution. Space is limited; please sign up if you can commit to at least 10 of the 12. Sign up here. 

Expand: Town hall – Feb 1st

The Building Committee invites anyone interested in details about the next steps in our EXPAND Project to join us for a Town Hall meeting on February 1st at 1:30 pm. This will include a presentation of some current options as well as a time for Q&A.

Marriage Weekender – May 8-9th

For all married couples: save the date (and plan for childcare) for a Friday night and Saturday of working on your marriage.

Do you sometimes find yourself trying to learn the songs we sing at Calvary on the fly? Do you want to know them in advance?
