Some in our church family have sensitivities to scents and chemicals. For the health and consideration of others, we’d like to ask everyone to please use unscented hygiene and cosmetic products on Sunday mornings. Thank you for being so considerate.
Parking
- Please be aware of the “no stopping” signs after the school parking on Evelyn Ave. People have been ticketed.
- Also, please be aware to not park in other churches' parking lots. Thanks!

Awana Volunteer Information Meetings – TODAY
Awana is a boys' and girls' discipleship club that focuses on the gospel, Bible study & memorization, and fun competitions. Awana is held Thursday nights starting Sept. 17th. Serving opportunities for grades 7 and up with varying degrees of commitment available. Interested in joining the team? Informational meetings on August 23rd during the second service. Members’ Business Meeting – August 30th
Our next members’ meeting will be on Sunday, August 30th at 1:30 pm. Have your lunch and then join us. Agendas have been posted at church exits, the back sanctuary bulletin board and distributed by email. If you have any questions, email the elders here.
Children’s Ministry Volunteers Training – August 30th
All Nursery, Sunday School, Children’s Church & Awana Volunteers, please be sure to join us next Sunday, August 30th for a training session during the 11am service downstairs in the Fellowship Hall.
Young Adults - Farm Adventure - Deadline TODAY
Join Calvary Young Adults for a day at Saunders Farm on Saturday, August 29th at 10:00 AM. Register and buy your ticket through here by August 23rd.
Nursery Parents – August 30th
Next week there will be no formal nursery. Parents are welcome to use the nursery rooms as parent/child rooms.
Sunday School – September 6th
Sunday School will be resuming on September 6th with the Kickoff taking place at Springhurst Park.
Guide Dog in Training
Over the next little while, you may see a dog wearing a training vest. He is in training to be a guide dog. Please do not pet or talk to him, as he is learning what it means to be a working dog! :)
