Some in our church family have sensitivities to scents and chemicals. For the health and consideration of others, we’d like to ask everyone to please use unscented hygiene and cosmetic products on Sunday mornings. Thank you for your consideration.
Parking
- Please be aware of the “no stopping” signs after the school parking on Evelyn Ave. People have been ticketed.
- Also, please be aware to not park in other churches' parking lots. Thanks!

Lost and Found Table - TODAY
Today is the last day to claim your items from the Lost and Found Table. Anything not claimed by the end of today will be donated.
Safe Families – Gift Card Drive :: May 10th to June 21st
From Mother’s Day to Father’s Day, we will be collecting $25 Walmart gift cards to donate to Safe Families. You can submit them through the offering boxes or to the church office.
OVA Ladies' Retreat :: Deadline to register: May 17th
Our annual retreat is a time for women of the FEB churches across the Ottawa Valley to connect, experience refreshment, and be encouraged through scripture, fellowship, and worship together. This year our speaker is Kathy Butryn, sharing from 1 Thessalonians 4:11 on the topic of "Keeping a Quiet Heart". A discounted registration fee will be available for a limited time. Members’ Business Meeting – May 31st
Our next members’ meeting will be on Sunday, May 31st, at 1:30pm. Have your lunch and then join us. Agendas have been posted at church exits, the back sanctuary bulletin board and distributed by email. If you have any questions, email the elders at elders@calvarybaptistchurch.ca.
Gospel Kids Conference – June 4-6th :: Deadline to register: May 21st
Join us at Calvary Baptist Church for a time of learning how to teach and preach the Bible and the gospel to kids! This is a livestreamed event featuring teachers specializing in children's ministry. We hope to equip parents, teachers, and anyone interested in caring for the hearts of young ones through this. The event runs from Thursday night until mid-afternoon Saturday. The cost of this event is $25 (to cover the cost of snacks and meals). If you cannot afford the cost, please contact Pastor Troy or Janis Henry. We would love to help you attend the event and are happy to talk with you about the cost if that is an issue for you. You can register here.
