Scent Request
Some in our church family have sensitivities to scents and chemicals. For the health and consideration of others, we’d like to ask everyone to please use unscented hygiene and cosmetic products on Sunday mornings. Thank you for your consideration.
Pauline Johnson (1933-2025)
We mourn with the extended Johnson family, including Sharon Parish, on the homegoing of Pauline on Thursday, March 6. She was a long-time member at Calvary, predeceased by her husband Samuel last November. Stay tuned for funeral details.
Membership Class – TODAY (March 9)
For anyone interested in becoming a member of Calvary, please join this class downstairs at 11am (during the service) in the fellowship hall.
Missionary Meet & Greet – TODAY (March 9)
For those who are interested, Brian Bittner is here today and will be staying after the 2nd service to share more about his and his family’s mission plans to the Arctic. You are welcome to join us downstairs in the preschool room for this as we hear more from our newest missionaries that we are supporting.
No AWANA This Week – March 13 (March Break)
Calvary’s 110th Anniversary – March 15-16
Celebrate next weekend with us! Come to church on Saturday, from 10am-12noon, to hear from Dr. Michael Haykin, followed by lunch afterwards. On Sunday morning, we have Rev. Steve Jones, the president of our Fellowship of churches, as our guest speaker. Please bring dessert or finger foods to share for after each Sunday service. Questions? See any of our pastors.
Compassion Team: Sandwich Making – March 16
Join the Compassion Team next Sunday after the 11am service to make sandwiches for the Ottawa Mission and the Ottawa Innercity Ministries. It will be downstairs in the preschool room. Contact Connie for any questions/ inquiries.
Young Adults’ Retreat (18-30yrs. old) – March 21-23

Volunteers Needed
We are particularly in need of volunteers for nursery, AV/sound, and security & elevator operation. If you are interested in serving on any of these teams, sign up at calvarybaptistchurch.ca/serve.
