Calvary Kids
Our mission: at Calvary Baptist Church, we want each child to know they are loved, heard, and valued. Children are vital to the life of a church and need to know how much they mean to us and how much they mean to God. Children's ministry is meant to build up the church by teaching fundamental truths that kids will carry for the rest of their lives.
Our Programs
Nursery (ages 0-2)
The nursery runs on Sunday mornings at Calvary during both the 9:00 service (baby nursery downstairs, toddler nursery upstairs), and 11:00 service (combined nursery upstairs)
Sunday School (preschool - grade 6)
Our Sunday School runs on Sunday Mornings at Calvary during the 9:00 service in the church basement.
Children’s Church (Ages 3-5)
Our Children's Church runs on Sunday Mornings at Calvary during the 11:00 service in the church basement.
CALVARY KIDS AIM TO
Praise God (Worship God)
At Calvary Kids we glorify God by honouring and worshiping him through our praise for who he is and what he does. We aim to praise the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, in everything we do in our ministries to children.
Follow Jesus (Grow Together)
At Calvary Kids we seek to follow Jesus by learning God's Word so we can be more like Jesus and follow him better every day. We grow in faith and friendships through small discipleship groups and classes with mentors and leaders who model what it looks like to follow Jesus.
Treat Others Like Jesus Did (Serve Others)
At Calvary Kids we aim to show the love of Jesus to others through the golden rule that he taught us in Matthew 7:12, "So whatever you wish that others would do to you, do also to them. We follow Jesus’ example and treat others as he treats us.…"
